-         Assist and coordinate community and farmer group requests mainly Telefood projects under the FAO assistance and EU projects

-         Facilitate and coordinate national development projects implemented by the Ministry and submit periodic reports to the Cabinet Development Committee (CDC). Reports include new initiatives, progress reports for ongoing projects, information paper for short term initiatives.

-         Coordinate with other line Divisions the FAO funded Regional Program for Food Security in Samoa

-         Monitor and Evaluate MAF development projects and Telefood projects

-         Facilitate and coordinate international trade issues, Codex committee with relevant government ministries by attending meetings, workshops locally, regionally and internationally

-         Coordinate and/or Secretariat for the MAF Corporate Plan
